Here is a picture of the Tin that Patti made for me

The Lunch Pail Tin Patti made for me, Wow

As you can see that beautiful tin was made for me by Patti Senter, she was my Secret Santa over at Your Paper Pantry, how pretty is that, and she made it just for me, can you imagine receiving that in a surprise package in the mail. Your Paper Pantry is a website with the greates women exchange swaps of color, charms, layouts, supplies, all sorts of things, and we receive some of the most beautiful things in the mail, I absolutely love it. Our secret santa was so much fun, we did not know who had our name until our package arrived in the mail. When I opened this beautiful Tin Pail that Patti made for me I was so stunned and so happy I just kept looking at it over and over. This along with some wonderful stamps, glimmer mists and other great things was one of the best gifts ever. Thank you so much Patti Senter.

I have been MIA

Well a lot has happened in my life and I have not been on for a while, Just to update, my Husband has been very ill, He had a brain tumor which the Doctors operated on in Tucson, Az. It was a long surgery but the doctors feel confident that it was a success. There were some little feelers in it that they didn't get all out, therefore, he will be having radiation therephy every day for 5 weeks and chemo also. The Doctors said that it could not be cured but it can be controlled and we are very confident that he will recover from this process. He is a very strong man with a big heart. After treatment he will return to Tucson for another MIA and another visit with his surgeon to see where we go from there. I want to thank everyone for all the prayers sent to us and all the positive thoughts, they really do help and are appreciated very much.

Very Good Week

I have just had one of the best weeks that I have had in a very long time. My son came from Phoenix to visit for the first time in several years, lives get so busy all we do sometime is get to visit on the phone. My daughter and her husband came from Tucson with their two dogs who are always welcome. So, the first time in years I had all three of my children here at the same time, WOW was I so happy. I really enjoyed the visiting and we didn't have to cook all the time they were here, another good thing, we had take outs and went out to eat, and on Saturday my wonderful granddaughter's husband barbecued for us, how nice is that. Then on Saturday night we had a bonfire and had smores, haven't had those in way to many years. My daughter Diane lives here next to me, I only have1 granddaughter, 1 grandson and 1 great grandson and every one was here, so what do you do when you have the whole family together, take pictures so I hope you enjoy the pictures to follow of my beautiful and wonderful family, I love you all so much.

This is a new mini that I just finished. Shown here are a couple of inside pages. I love to do vintage and shabby chic. My favorite things to do right now are Mini albums, ATC's, Journals, and Tags. This album will be for sale at my LSS called Embellish, I sell a lot of them there.

A new little journal I just made from corogated cardboard with Prima flowers on the front and plain pages inside for pictures or journaling, some pages have a couple little pockets for saving treasures. It was fun to make and a fast project. I love scrapbooking and my favorites right now are mini albums, ATC's, tags, and swaps on Your Paper Pantry.
Here is our vegetable garden this year, we have tomatoes, zuccini, squash, cucumbers, radishes
carrots, and green onions . Everything always tastes so good right when they are picked
We are hoping to build a green house, soon I hope.

This is our guest house right next to my house where my oldest daughter is living. It is really nice to have her so close. It is a two bedrom, kitchen, bath, and living room. I love this little house and my husband also built this one by himself as he has all four of our houses.

This is my house, my husband built this house
about 10 years ago, I love it, it is very private and quiet here. It is much larger on the inside than it looks from the outside. One of my daughters live in the guest house right next to it. This is my last stop before Heaven.

This is part of our property in Pinetop, Az. we have 41/2 acres and we have 4 houses and we love it here. Right now we have had so much rain and everything is so green it is just beautiful.
It is always green even some of the pine trees stay green during the cold snowy winters. The oak trees are gorgeous but loose there leaves in the winter.

First ATC swap on Your Paper Pantry

Today I received my part of our first ATC swap from Paper Pantry. There are certainly some creative women on this board. Our theme was Vintage Floral Spring, and everyone did a marvelous job, everyone's was so different but that is what makes it so fun and interesting. I love doing these swaps and seeing all the different ones you end up with. Our June theme is "our choce" so that one should be really interesting, I can hardly wait to see what all the ladies come up with.
